So many girls at the tryout I think over 70+ wonder if she gonna get an offer from any team, the lower team is worth it? Or should I just go back to rec and tryouts for another year?
70+ girls! That is a huge pool of players, How many teams do they have for that age?

Last year they told us Wednesday for tryouts that were on Monday. Heard nothing, then on Saturday got an e-mail from the coach "I sent you an invitation on Thursday, are you still interested?"

Tryouts for returning players is merely stagecraft above U10/U11. As others have noted, offers are determined weeks, if not months, in advance. Any adjustments are based mostly on whether players higher on the depth chart accept or decline.

Cant say much on girls side but MH just wants to administer on boys side, no interest and actually doing this thing called development and coaching.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Loudoun is only ever interested in the top two teams. At the older ages only the top. Getting in from outside is very, very difficult. You can see that as good or bad depending on whether you’re at Loudoun or somewhere else but that is the reality. Always has been.
Top team at older levels is NVA and therefore there are many players not from Loudoun.
yep.. reason why one of the age groups top players went to arlington. With 3 players also backing out of accepted offers. Going to be a s show next season. Think about it. They would rather be on a roster of 20+ kids vs being on a 18 roster. Tells you something.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:most are loudoun. This is the Loudoun way across the board.
