Although I wish we would get away from snacks. They don’t need them and it’s another thing to organize and all the pre-packaged snacks create so much trash.
Cucumbers?
I would love to see this in the wild.
Not as bad as the lady who always brought seaweed snacks to ours.
My kid would destroy the seaweed snacks but I suspect he’s in the minority there.
They are extremely salty/high sodium so a very odd and stinky choice after kids have been running around on a soccer field for an hour.
They aren’t all high in sodium at all, but even if they were, sodium can actually be beneficial after exercise. So you’re welcome to think it’s odd or stinky, but….
(And no, we’re not Asian either.)
Seaweed snacks are hugely popular!
I don't think there should be snacks at all at regular activities that are 2 hours or less, unless it's immediately after school, but if there are snacks, my kids and their friends would love seaweed or fruit.

Assorted chips
Small containers of pringles
Individual Oreo packs
Popcorn
Individual packaged Rice Krispie treats
All the above are huge hits after our soccer games. Some parents do Gatorade too

My kid and his friends actually love those, but can’t say it ever would have occurred to me to take them as a post-game snack!
Asian or?
