Subject: Why are some teen girls like this?
I’m an adult, and introducing friends to other friends gives me anxiety. I feel responsible for whether they get along or not. I dislike hosting parties for that reason, even though I enjoy attending other people’s.
Could be as simple as that.
My 16 yo mixes her friends all the time, but some of her friends never invite her to hang with their other friends. It’s not bc they don’t think she’s cool bc I’ll be honest, she’s fairly “popular” for what that’s worth. She has tons of friends and has no need for more, so she thinks nothing of it. But meeting new friends through an existing friend is the easiest path to new friends, so I can see why it would fester if that’s a goal. I’d tell her just to ask her friend if she can be included once in awhile as sometimes you have to be direct.

Personally I think it is the fault of the parents. Rude to not include your DD. Parents are like this. They often want their kids to win the popularity contest.
Most parents aren’t policing the text chats of teens to see who is included in a discussion about getting together. Exactly how do you see this working? You clearly don’t have a teen if you thinks this happens or should happen. Did your parents heavily micromanage your social life as a teen?
