If that were true, the holes would be all over the shirt, but mine are always on the front waist line in exact.y the same spot.

yep, that's what it is.
If the holes are small enough, I can fix it, but otherwise, they are mostly inside shirts. I have a lot of these, too. I've started to wear an apron at the kitchen sink, but I still rub against the bathroom counter.
