I have never been a breakfast person, but skipping lunch and having one really delicious, filling meal for dinner is my preference. I find it easier to stay on track if I'm not snacking throughout the day and eating extra stuff.
A friend got bariatric surgery 1.5 yrs ago and her after surgery diet was sooo little. Like 2 bites of meat and 2 bites of veggies. Of course you lose drastic amounts of weight if you eat so little. You dont even need the surgery!
I've seen this also with a relative who had the surgery.

You will cause your body to assume you are experiencing a famine, and it will pack fat around your organs to protect them. Ask yourself is some goal weight is worth the damage you will cause.
Utter bollocks.

To put a finer point on it: When groups are uniformly starved they all lose weight. Maybe at slightly different rates, but they just do. Look at any photo of famine victims or war crime victims and it's not like there is some guy there whose body just wouldn't drop the weight.
