Nope. I was expecting it to be off kilter/alternate reality. All of that stuff made sense in the world the movie was occurring in. Which is why I said it was occasionally uncomfortably surreal.

Agree with The Lobster. It was made by the same guy as Poor Things. I enjoyed Poor Things. I would not rewatch The Lobster
