Interesting. In ECNL-R girls, the 6 MYS green teams have a combined goal differential of -52, with not a single team having scored more goals than they’ve allowed this season.

The boys’ ECNL-R teams have a negative 75 goal differential, but to be fair, almost all of that is from the youngest two teams (-63). Their 07s and 09s have very slightly positive GDs (+4 total).

Meanwhile, Arlington girls’ ECRL has every team with positive goal differential, for +76 GD overall (+50 coming from their excellent 10s and 11s). The boys are +92, with none of their teams having negative GD.

For Vienna, girls are +16, with most of that coming from the 10s and 11s. Boys are -95, with all teams having negative GD.

I wouldn’t expect to see much movement, except maybe from Vienna boys to older age groups. If anything, the results would seem to indicate Arlington has recruited players away from MYS.

Isn't the arrangement the same as last time? VA Union played in ECNL, McLean played in RL. Brave/Union are going to play in ECNL, MCLean are going to play in ECNL-RL, no? Don't they have the same arrangement?

Depends on where you live. We live in 22207 and it takes us 10 mins to get to Lewinsville Park where our MYS player trains. It takes us 25-30 to get to Highlands or Long bridge.

Likely leaving McLean here as well. Have been unhappy with coaching, development and competition on the boys side. Going to check out Arlington like others.

They are all like this. Just have to learn to navigate and move around if you don’t like a coach or program.
