It's fantasy. It's supposed to by over the top. The wings on the girls are part of it. It was not about being tasteful or doing something that some UMC DCUM denizen will nod at in approval. It's about doing something that their model/artist/musician trust fund friends will find memorable and interesting. Your distaste for all of it is a feature, not a bug.

I thought her wedding looked gorgeous. I loved the dress, the crown, all of it. Yes, it's ridiculously wealthy people being wasteful. But at least it's glorious, beautiful, interesting waste.

I don't care either way about their marriage. I don't know them and I have no idea if this is a tragic turn of events or something they had coming to them -- could be both depending on your angle. But these are just people in photos to me, I'm not invested.

I'm just here for the fashion and the photos. I enjoyed looking at photos of that wedding a hell of a lot more than another tasteful, preppy, high society wedding that looks straight out of Martha Stewart weddings with not a single interesting or surprising choice and zero personality.

I’m not interested. The wedding was mildly interesting. That was enough.
