This is strictly sour grapes. Once you're off the waitlist, you're in. This poster is trying to create some drama around who got in which round. Whatever. When you're in, you're in. Those waitlisted kids were just as "deserving" as the RD or the ED kids. Give me a break. They're all hardworking kids.


Sour grapes? My kid was waitlisted at one school and said “eff that.” You want to wait around for an offer even though the school didn’t extend you one to begin with? Have at it.



I accepted Harvard's offer from the waitlist, was perfectly happy to do so!

We'll be declining Wesleyan. Honestly, I'm sad about it. Seems like such a nice school - just not a great fit. Oh well. Someone else will be really happy there.
