No. It is a massive, well attended meet.

Then that makes no sense to allow non-qualifying athletes to swim since it slows the meet.

Yep. I know of one local team that sent a bunch of BB-time swimmers to the under-14 ISCA who did NOT make the cuts for any individual events. For some reason, ISCA accepted those swimmers.

The only cuts that are BB are the 9 year old cuts. The rest are A or faster. Our team required swimmers to have at least one cut in their age group to attend.

I was bored over lunch and looked at the meet mobile for ISCAs 14 and under and there were definitely multiple local clubs who sent kids who did not have a single cut. I’m sure some clubs still required their swimmers to have a cut, but some definitely didn’t.

So you went through and looked at every entry time for each swimmer you say doesn’t have cuts and checked the cuts to confirm? Wow.

This is pretty easy to figure out just by looking at the kids who finish last.

Lol my kid’s a high level swimmer so I’m familiar with cut times and using meet mobile. I just looked at a few PVS teams and the swimmers they sent. I am familiar with some of the names (I only looked at swimmers the same gender as my kid), and some of them I knew are not fast enough for a meet like ISCA, so I clicked on them and sure enough they didn’t have the cut times. Took like 5 minutes while eating my sandwich.

Not the pp, but this wouldn’t take too much time. Start with a kid who finished at the back, click on their name to see all entries, and it should be pretty clear.
