What exactly do you mean by “gatekeeper”? Are you also going to demand brain surgery based on the MRI despite medical opinion?
MRI *is not* standard of care for pediatric headache unless the neurology exam shows indications of a red flag.

Amen is a quack and it is extremely concerning to see him being promoted here to parents of vulnerable children. Hopefully his clinic actually doesn’t do medically uneccesary CT scans of children, but who knows. PLEASE if your kid has headaches, call Childrens or Inova Kellar. We were able to be seen very quickly. No need to go to a fringe science “clinic.”

That OP’s child is frighteningly violent. My somewhat less violent kid had something going on in his brain. We resolved the issue in the brain tissue and we resolved the problem. The kid needs a complete physical. If I were that OP, I would demand brain imaging.
