+1 Not sure if OP is trolling but this kid needs down time to decompress. Structured activities led by a coach or teacher do not give a kid time to relax, even if the activities are the kid's passion.

Agreed but also stop spending thousands on little kid activities. If he asks to do an activity that costs money, set an expectation of how much he will practice and how long the session you pay for is. Hold him to the schedule for the session then if you had to nag and force, tell him you’re not signing him up for another session. And no more that one activity at a time.

Drop the chess, he isn't that into it so he is never going to really progress. Math is different since it is a school subject. Instead of spending time on chess have him spend that time on math instead.

He doesn't need to practice basketball or soccer if he isn't going to play club basketball or soccer. It is like jack of all trades, master of none. It is great to explore some activities but it sound like you want him to master one thing or maybe two activities well as he is exploring what interests him. To do that you can't spread him so thin. Is he going to be tall? Does he dad coach his rec team? If not then drop basketball. Try other sports to see if he likes them any better and is willing to practice more- gymnastics, lacrosse, golf, swim team?
