Honestly, she might have been elected president had she not had Bill’s baggage.
But she never would have been nominated for president (or secretary of state, or senator) had she not gained worldwide fame for being Bill's wife.
Had she not married Bill, she might have left her law firm job to run for an elected office at some point. It might have happened.
ICYMI: Bill was charismatic and articulate, but she was the strategic one who helped him achieve.

It may be possible that Michelle Obama gave up the highest salary to become first lady, and maybe wins the "most accomplished at the time of becoming first lady"
HRC was partner at the biggest/most prominent law firm in Arkansas at a time when governors' wives were expected to not have their own careers. She was *partner* when the glass ceiling was a real phenomena for law firms.
Michelle Obama was some kind of VP of diversity in a sinecure role at a Chicago hospital. Still not quite clear what she did to justify her 300k salary at the time. Michelle Obama is a perfectly competent woman but has none of the accomplishments of HRC and like with her husband, people try to make her more than she really is.

I mean, yes, but her accomplishments are mostly linked to her celebrity from having been first lady.
Definitely true, but DCUM posters are damp over Yale Law School + the marrying well + her constant self promotion.
Jackie O was definitely the most accomplished. Well bred, nothing to prove, married well twice, impeccable taste in clothing and interior design, attentive mother, supportive wife.

So what? Compare that to Melania who does nothing now. Or Laura Bush. Who is lovely and was a great First Lady. But has no really accomplished much in the post-presidential years.
There is no contest. HRC.

Yes, not even a question.
