OP here and these are all perfect, and yes, likely a little too pricy for her taste. Though she never spends money on clothes so I'm forwarding just in case she wants to splurge! I would actually love it if she decided to do that.

But this is *exactly* the vibe and I like that they are all somewhat covered up without feeling matronly at all. That's exactly what she wants. We did like at MOB dresses at the bridal salon when my sister got her dress but they all felt wrong.


I think the Lela Rose dresses posted here are lovely. Persuade her!!



None are floor length, and none look romantic.

If your mom is willing to go secondhand, The Real Real and Thredup both have a fair amount of Lela Rose dresses.
