We loved getting food to go at Monoprix and having a picnic along the Seine. Not an unusual thing to do, but a nice break from sightseeing.

This is what we do. Plan nothing and just walk around or sit around.

The Louis Vuitton foundation currently has an unbelievably comprehensive Rothko exhibit. It's extremely unlikely that there will ever be a time when this many Rothko's are all in one place ever again. And the building itself (Louis Vuitton) is extraordinary:

Honestly, once you’ve been to Paris a few times I think the best thing to is get lost and wander around. No plan whatsoever.

Do you like fancy food? If I were looking for vegetarian food I would definitely want to eat at Arpege. I would definitely want to eat at Arpege anyway actually and I don’t even like vegetables!

The art museum at the Petit Palais. It's free and wasn't crowded when we visited at the height of summer. The building is amazing.
