90% of the reason a woman marries a man is for money. Let's not fake it. It's the truth. How many attractive women do you see with UGLY men? How many attractive women do you see with UGLY men who are rich?
A man will marry a beautiful kind women who works at McDonald's. A women would NEVER marry a handsome kind man who works at McDonald's.
Their kids marrying waitresses or equal is my social circle's worst nightmare. They want their daughters and sons to marry for love not money but general hope is for someone educated, employed and debt free.
Right, if your daughter has the option between two men both of which were average looking and kind. But, one made $300k a year with a bright future and another made $90k a year unsure of his career future you know 100% you want your daughter to marry the $300k a year guy.
Also, someone who is educated, employed, and debt free is most men. How about a guy who works as a Burger King manager who reads books and is educated/smart? Never went to college, but has no debt and earns $65k a year. Would be be approved? 100% not.

We were both in our mid 20s from MC families and neither of us had much money in the bank. A prior BF came from a very wealthy family but he had a lot of problems. My DH has been very successful, as was I, so I made a good bet.

Was your boss a madam?

Most women aren’t attractive and socially savvy enough to attract the billionaires/hundred millionaires but just about every cares about financial stability in a man. The only question is the extent.

I had no idea her mom masterminded her marrying JFK, and then even the Kennedies helped orchestrate her marriage to Onassis, purely for money, which set her up for life. Same with her sisters, both married for money.
