And I'll throw out one more no one has mentioned -- Danielle Brooks. The dress looks great on her and is perfectly tailored. Her hair and jewelry were perfectly styled for the dress. And it's so, so rare that they manage to get the bust covered properly for a woman that is not a size 0-6. We've seen so many larger women that look like they are being strangled by their own breasts they are hiked up so far, or where it looks like they are about the spill out -- hers is perfectly done.

I might also give a nod to Annette Benning for making the retirement home palazzo pants Oscar-chic. She looks very great in a DNGAF kind of way. I guess no Warren this year.

I think it's okay to be short -- just shorten the dress. With her look, I feel like she could get away with even wearing boots or something kind of steam punk. I just hate platform shoes -- they look so dumb. When they were in during the 90s, I knew so many people that twisted their ankle falling off them. It's like every 20 years or so, they try to sell us those again.

Agree did not like the dark green with the big wings and lots of boob -- it's just too much, and looks like pleather. The fitting through the bust also looks off -- the darts are too low, like it flattens her breasts, and I don't know why people thing it's attractive to show all the space above and below the breasts.

I liked Ariana Grande's dress, even though it swallowed her whole -- I feel like the ones that come over from the music industry can always get away with being a little more outrageous (Cher, Madonna, etc.). It's youthful and fun.

I don't know why the America Ferrara dress isn't really working for me. It looks a little like a mermaid costume. I might like a square neck more. Or maybe a different bottom. She looks really poured into it, but I guess that means the tailoring is quite good. I wonder if the fabric is stretchy, or if she had to be basically sewed into it. I wonder if she could go to the bathroom all night.

Come to think of it, I don't know how Ariana Grande went to the bathroom. I guess the train detaches? Do these women just dehydrate themseleves thoroughly, or wear Depends?

Florence Pugh is beautiful but she seemingly can't find a good stylist.

I said this last night. How can a woman so beautiful, and talented, be dressed to look so awful all the time? I did not like any of her looks at any of the awards shows this season.
