My sister takes it for that also. Lamictal is actually a very well tolerated brain calming med. it’s side effect profile is mild comparatively.


This is from my neuro, directly. Comparing it to a SSRI is not well taken. Oranges to apples. Mood regulation while not crystal clear is different.
