I like the classics, like old-fashioned, sidecar, Manhattan, negroni, etc.
In warmer weather I like spritzes.

I like to make a variety of vodka cocktails. Use the cosmo recipe as a base, and then make it whatever you want.

I like:
Vodka
Mango juice
Prosecco (or just seltzer if you want it lighter)

Also:
vodka
flavored liquor (like orange)
any juice
lime (or other citrus)

Adding seltzer or prosescco puts bubbles into most things which makes it feel more sophisticated. Even just a splash helps cut juice that it too sweet.

Hugo. Don't over pour the syrup, squeeze fresh lime juice. Simply syrup and clubsoda for non-drinkers. Add mint and lime rings. Plenty of ice ofcourse.
The syrup should be on Amazon.

For a riff on this, French 77 with elderflower is pretty yum too.

Oh, thanks for this. I'm going to try it this weekend! Sounds similar to a Hugo.

What sour mix do you like for these?

I use simple syrup and fresh-squeezed lemon juice.

Old fashioned or sidecar (the classic sidecar -- it's margarita adjacent, so your guests who like margaritas would probably like sidecars)
