I genuinely had never read this website until a few years ago even though I've lived in DC for decades and been a parent for almost the long. People would ask me about it and I'd say "oh no, I've heard of it but I never go on there." I am positive no one believed me. So it's fitting that I now pretty much live on this website. If Jeff posted a list of most frequent posters/viewers, I have to think I'd make the top 100.

Yes I can see how if you support glorifying and memorializing slavery and plantations, this would be “so annoying” for you. For the rest of us who understand the subtle yet undeniable racism shown when we name things after slave-owning plantations, we agree with her and support her.
Name the damn bonnet something else. Their refusal to simply do that is quite telling.
