OP your issue is probably that you are short. Make sure you buy petite pants instead of hemming longer pants, which will make the opening bigger.

Love these. Do they stretch out much? That’s my issue w/old navy but maybe these are better than their denim used to be?
My old navy skinnies stretched out t the knee becuase they're tight and the bending knee stretches them out. Since these don't stretch when I bend the shape has stayed nice.

I look 3 inches taller and thin in skinny, bootcut or boyfriend styles.
Skinnies are a staple. Look at Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton and WASP women.
