Also, not all colleges/universities have fraternities/sororities. Colleges organized around “houses” (aka: residential colleges) typically do not have any, and yet their students still have social lives and friends.

On this basis (at least just your minimum standard of any underage drunkenness)…85% of all college students in the entire country will be expelled.

I find it laughable that a university allows fraternities/sororities, but is then somehow surprised (BTW they aren’t) that many have pledging rituals involving inordinate amounts of drinking.

I agree. Anyone who witnesses hazing and does not report it is just as bad. Also, if students stopped agreeing to be hazed there would be no pledges and then there would be changes.
