I am not a Wash U parent but gosh, some of you are so mean!
Wash U is definitely considered a selective school in our circle-lot of academically strong kids who want to get into premed apply ED and get in from our private school. Good for them thinking long term.

You're not figuring in the bigger issue: it doesn't matter how welcoming St. Louis is if encompassing state law means a lack of access to emergency medical treatment.

Our DD applied RD, along with Vandy.The size of the school was appealing. Preparing for a deny even though she’s got great stats. We haven’t visited but will if she gets in.
