I run tues/thurs/sat/sun. I lift and do non-running cardio M/W/F. Yoga most Tuesdays and Thursdays. Plus a lot of walking. I was in fantastic shape until I hit 48/49 and now it's a struggle at almost-52. I'm not great at dieting so I have to be really disciplined with the exercise.

I am shocked at some of these workouts. I do solid core 2x week and barre 1x a week. On the weeks I add a 4th workout, I'm dying of soreness. I find solid core to be tremendously challenging.

Lift 2x week
Run 2x week
Spin/cycle 2x week

Podcasts are the best. I may not want to hit the treadmill, but I do look forward to the podcast.

Barre. I never thought I'd stay with it so long but I don't really get bored of it as long as I keep taking new classes and trying new things. I also hike and bike and, when the weather is warm, kayak, to mix things up. But those are not things I can realistically squeeze into most weekdays and certainly not more than once a week, so having the consistency of barre classes, which also have the benefit of keeping me fit for other activities, is really great.

Running, 3 days a week. Not much, like 3-5 miles.

But I'm a big believer in cross training. Strength train w/ weights 1-2x a week. Climb the stairclimber (with good form, no leaning/hunching), incline on the treadmill, plus add in walking where I can.

Studio or home? If a studio, is it convenient?

3 days a week in gym weight lifting, 2 days a week running (one short run at 4 miles and one longer around 8-10 miles). Try to stay generally active/get steps in each day.

Run outside 2-3x a week
Boot camp class with focus on strength 1-2x a week
Yoga at home with Youtube instruction 1x a week

I get up super early and get this done before the day begins. Work full time, 2 young kids.

I used to be just a runner with the odd strength session thrown in, and that was a recipe for injury for me.

And before anyone asks, no, I do not work full time.

Just sitting over here with incredible jealousy!

I go 15 minutes of aerobics per day - sneak it in before my shower - and usually walk about 1.5 hours per day. I do work full time but no kids.
