Nope. You just have know 5th grade math and work quickly.
There is a section containing Math 7 questions.
But what really is Math 7? Think nationally. Math 7 is just a name. Most of the topics are actually taught in 5th grade in other states/districts.
You are misinformed. FCPS is one of the few districts in the County that moves a decent percentage of students into Algebra 1 in 7th grade. Math 7 is pre-Algebra and it is being taught to 6th graders. The IAAT that they are given is to test their preparedness for Algebra, a class that the majority of students in the US who are considered Advanced in math will take in 8th grade and a large percentage of the country will noit take until 9th grade.
Have you lived anywhere else with 5/6th graders? Don’t say someone is misinformed when you don’t know. This is a national test and other places have kids in Algebra in 7th. The only real distinction is that FCPS doesn’t allow everyone to take the test because advanced math is gatekept.
Work quickly and accurately. That’s it.

so I have couple of questions here -
Is it going to be the same format across fcps ? .
So this means that they can revisit the questions that they skipped previously due to time constraints and get back to it ?.

Maybe but they’re taught in Math 7 in VA.
