It isn't a test you prep for.
Of course it is.
Nope. You just have know 5th grade math and work quickly.
There is a section containing Math 7 questions.
But what really is Math 7? Think nationally. Math 7 is just a name. Most of the topics are actually taught in 5th grade in other states/districts.
You are misinformed. FCPS is one of the few districts in the County that moves a decent percentage of students into Algebra 1 in 7th grade. Math 7 is pre-Algebra and it is being taught to 6th graders. The IAAT that they are given is to test their preparedness for Algebra, a class that the majority of students in the US who are considered Advanced in math will take in 8th grade and a large percentage of the country will noit take until 9th grade.

“The test format has changed—it is now a computerized test instead of a paper-and-pencil test. One of the most significant changes is that the test now consists of a single section with 60 questions, and students will have 40 minutes to complete it. Previously, it was divided into four sections, each with 15 questions and a 10-minute time limit. The test will have a built-in timer that students can choose to display on their screen. If they find it distracting, they will have the option to hide it.”
