If you are from Oakview or are an advocate for education come to the meeting Wednesday night.
Seems like a reason to move the CES

Lots of staffing cuts coming in mcps.
And yet there is a full house at central office and they can pay for all their pet projects.
The central office staff earned their spot through years of union membership and working “in the trenches,” teaching in the schools. They have a right to those jobs.

Title I schools losing academic support positions, big cuts to ELD and Focus, things like that. I teacher at a Title I school and our principal announced that allocations had been handed down, but he needs to speak with staff impacted first. I'm expecting some rough news tomorrow.

You are a joke if you think that CO staff should be entitled to their jobs when student-facing jobs are on the line to be cut. Your way of thinking is what is wrong with this school district.
Seniority - you really should look up what it means.

Interesting about the sudden meetings though. My DD goes to a title 1 school and they just said there will be an open zoom meeting next week with the principal/AP for anyone that wants to join in - they used to have monthly meetings but haven't done it in awhile.
