😞

I'm not feeling concern for the house right now. Firefighters are risking, perhaps losing, their lives right now. And we have no word of the family occupants.
Those poor families.

The concern is for all impacted. The home leveled comment from firefighters indicates the severity.

You’re in a hotel that’s made for sound proofing. All depends on topography/obstacles for sound waves. Being the person that wrote that I heard it in Bethesda… I can promise you we did. Sounded like someone hit some outside our house.

The same thing happened with the explosion in Arlington a couple months ago. We lived north and west of the explosion in Arlington and couldn’t hear it but people in Alexandria could.

My house in Potomac is physically closer to Sterling than McLean is to Sterling. No leaves on the trees, so sound travels better. Who knows. May husband said he heard something.

We didn't notice in McLean.

It’s 30 miles by road but as the crow flies it’s much closer. Just look at a map.

The house was right outside my daughter’s cul de sac… they could feel the explosion.
