It's pretty obvious. People will comment on the dog "Cute dog!" or ask what breed it is or whatever while the owner basks in the glory.

People bringing their dogs everywhere is 1000% attention seeking behavior. Even outside, you can tell that a lot of owners are irked when their dog is walking all over the place, and you don't pretend to think it's cute.

Sounds like you need a lot of deep therapy on why you have antioscial tendencies and can't connect to humans over your "bestie."

I love my pets, but they stay home - because they're animals and I'm not a socially stunted human.

My DS was attacked by a neighbor’s dog. He received over 12 stitches in the back of his leg. My kids, who are now afraid of dogs, and I don’t love your dogs. If you must bring them into a store, please keep them away from others. Not everyone wants to pet them or be around them. And for god’s sake, they do not belong in a shopping cart at the grocery store (yes, I’ve seen that).

This is pretty gross in carpeted stores full of textile materials for sale. The carpets will retain odors, and who wants to bring home a new dress covered in rando dog hair?
