FYI:
Dems aren't known for their business friendly policies, in case you were thinking of voting for a Dem.
Well that's the thing. The only advantage Republicans have for me is the perception they are better for the economy. But Hogan doesn't have a good track record here.
but a Dem won't, either.
I agree with you but the Dems support abortion rights, LGBTQ+ rights, paid parental leave, racial equity, and healthcare access to name a few. No reason to vote for Hogan honestly.
I'm tired of progressive politics in MD. It's not helped our schools or businesses. If there was a moderate Dem, I'd be willing to vote for one, but that doesn't seem to be happening in in MD.
so basic civil rights is "progressive politics?"

Seems like we'll have a reasonable senator!
If Trone gets the nomination, I’ll vote for Trone. If AlsoBowser is the nominee, I’ll vote for Hogan.

Sorry you don't like progressive politics. Hogan had 8 years as governor and the economy stopped growing under his watch. Purple Line stalled which probably didn't help. He was also very divisive at times. I don't get people who are like "Oh he's a nice moderate". GTFOOH. Very partisan. Just not as bad as Trump which is not a high standard.
And is MD economy growing now under a Dem? No, it isn't.

I used to vote Democratic but now I’m looking for the most even-keeled person in the room.
Then you shouldn't support someone who voted for a dead man for president.

Anonymous wrote:I am a lifelong democrat, and voted for Larry Hogan twice for Governor. And there is absolutely no way I will vote for him for Senate. Not because I don't like him, o0r think he would do a bad job, but because if he wins, it gives increased power to Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Ron Johnson, Josh Hawley, and the rest of the far right brigade of the Senate. My vote will not be used to support a potential GOP Senate Majority, and that is far, far more important than my personal feelings about an individual candidate.
