Jfc have you ever had oatmeal before? Throw in an egg?!
What?! I like savory oatmeal. I add egg and cheese to my oatmeal. Are you dying?
I did not care for savory oatmeal, which I was surprised by. I love a savory French toast, for example. But that aside, I was thinking of the oatmeal the OP describes which has banana and cinnamon added to it. Dropping an egg and cheese in that sounds horrible!

why is it bad for diabetics

NP here, why so angry? I like to cook chopped spinach and an egg in a fry pan and add that to my oatmeal. I don't like sweets, especially in the morning; I much prefer savory oatmeal.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Can you throw in an egg or some peanut butter or nuts or something for protiein?

Yeah there is this thing on tiktok right now where people are saying "oh no oat milk and oats spikes your blood sugar!" There has been ample information out there for decades about net carbs and how to reduce the glycemic index of your meal and still these things just come around again and again.
