Right now one of the biggest problems in the world is monotheistic religions fighting with each other. Here is something that they can all agree upon. Granted this excludes some groups, but making a children's book that both Muslim people and Jewish people can read to their kids and have something in common it seems like a good step towards peace.

Self-publishers are literal, actual publishers.
There are three types of publishers:
Traditional publishers (usually need an agent; publishers pay the author a royalty)
Vanity pulblishers (an author pays a vanity publisher to publish their book)
Self publisher/ing (an author who publishes the work themself entirely and keeps any profits themself)
