I'm 6 months in with no issue re facial hair and significant improvement on my head.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Question for those on oral rogain. Does the hair grow long or just short stubby hairs? I have curly hair and the frizz would be horrible but I really need to do something.
I have curly hair and started a low dose in August. When the new hairs started growing in, my hair almost immediately had a ton more volume and it was harder to see my scalp through my hair. I would have been happy even with just that change.
Since then the hairs are getting longer and I'm now at a stage where my hair has good volume but there are straggly curly ends where the new growth hasn't reached yet. It's still better than where it started because of the added fullness. I recently added a few shorter layers on top to cut off some of the straggly bits, but it's not a complete solve. It will be good when the new growth gets a bit longer and I can get a chop to clean it all up, but I need to be patient. It is growing and filling in. It just takes time.
I just talked to my derm about the oral Rogaine route. She warned me about facial hair. Has that been anyone’s experience?
