The theory has plenty of critics, but basically: "Donohue and Levitt point to the fact that males aged 18 to 24 are most likely to commit crimes. Data indicates that crime in the United States started to decline in 1992. Donohue and Levitt suggest that the absence of unwanted children, following legalization in 1973, led to a reduction in crime 18 years later, starting in 1992 and dropping sharply in 1995. These would have been the peak crime-committing years of the unborn children."
Violent crime is still down a lot compared to the 90s (which, incidentally, lots of people are citing as "the best decade" lately.)

Most left wing: Every billionaire is evidence of an economic failure. Anything economically productive they did for their billion, they likely would have done for $100 million. That means our society wasted $900 million.

Right wing: I don’t believe that Trans people can literally convert into the opposite sex. I think trans women retain biological advantages over cis women and they should be separation between them in sports and womens prisons etc.

OP, I'm with you on crime and the border. I'm a lifelong Democrat and I think the party is absolutely insane on these issues. I actually 95% agree with Trump and the Republicans on the border (although I also believe that they're not that interested in coming up with a constructive solution, since it's a good issue to weaponize). Asylum is a complete joke and needs to be tightened to the point that 99% of the people currently claiming asylum can no longer use it as a backdoor.
My most left wing views:
Abortion should be legal up to the point of birth everywhere in the country. I am okay with having a federal law that requires a medical reason/doctor sign-off after the beginning of the third trimester, but that's the only limitation I think is reasonable. It doesn't happen on an elective basis after that point anyway. [Abortion is the reason I will never ever vote R. I'm a single issue voter on this.]
We need to cease funding, supporting, and enabling Israel as a bedrock principle of foreign policy. We definitely should call for a ceasefire and stop supplying military aid to Israel right now. I would prefer to just cut off our support entirely, but at minimum we need to authorize aid/military support separately and on a one-off basis as needed and debated in Congress each time.
Church and state should be completely, totally separated. There should be no accommodations for religion in the public/governmental sphere. I would like us to adopt the French model of separation.

They are doing the jobs of social workers half the time by dealing with the drugged or mentally ill. It’s a hard and taxing job. Worth six figures starting salary. They do alot to keep us safe but barely get the recognition that military and other professions get .
-Queer studies or LGBTQ curriculum . This has no place in an elementary school or in cartoons . College elective? Yes. But it’s so reckless to promote to kids at an impressionable age and an age where they are more interested in same sex friendships rather than the opposite sex like in preteen and teen years. Preschool-Grade 5 is not the time to promote anything regarding sexual and gender identity
-Drugs. Marijuana should not be legal.
-IRS. Should be banned entirely .
How do you fund universal healthcare and free pre-K without an IRS? Where do all the taxes go and from what tax pool do we fund these things? I'm confused.

The money already spent on Medicare can be used for Medicare for All. That’s not from income tax from the IRS
Universal pre K and community colleges can be paid for with state taxes instead of the dubious “roads and bridges” and casino projects .
