For more than a decade, students were expected to be in their seats by 8:50. They have to be stricter about it now because some parents are lazy.

ASFS website says 8:50 to 3:50.

Arlington County schools website says 9:00 - 3:50.

So, how long has ASFS said 8:50?

Weird. I really can’t imagine APS has people working on weekends to update their webpages (too much bureaucratic red tape!). I’ve always seen 8:50 am as the published start of the day.

You must be new there. The previous principal was criticized for being way up in all the teachers’ business and playing favorites. She ran a very tight ship. In the end her style really worked for my kid, but there was lots of complaining.

Given the new zone for the school, just leave five minutes earlier.

I cannot believe 5 minutes is worth getting this worked up over.
