That’s becoming increasingly hard to do. A few years ago, I was able to contact customer service representatives by phone. More recently, I was easily ably to contact CS reps via Chat. A couple of weeks ago, I was unable to find either a phone number or access Chat in a way that would allow me to talk with an actual human being. I kept spiraling through “help” pages and automated responses that didn’t address my questions. I wonder if this is just the way it is — or if it’s linked to the specific products I had questions about. Perhaps it’s easier to access chat if it’s related to more expensive items?
This is such an issue, for a company supposedly obsessed with customer service why do they make it so hard to find a customer service number or chat option?

It's after 9 pm and I'm pretty sure it's not coming in the next hour.
Yes, that's exactly the pattern. I don't understand how they can get away with this on such a large scale.
It is not a large scale
Amazon did well in the pandemic go to the store if you don’t like them

I've been getting that "by 10 pm" notices for at least a year now but they never come at 10 pm or by 10 pm. They come the next day. In my book, not worth complaining about but I have noticed. I'm more upset by the drivers throwing stuff by our street-side mailbox, in the driveway, near the garage but not - as designated on the amazon site - on the front porch. rain has ruined a number of packages. That I complain about but Amazon bumps to UPS and UPS doesn't care so I don't bother complaining anymore

Blame Republicans
Supply chains are messed up because of Trump and is tariff mess.
OMG, you liberals are hilarious! Say exactly HOW and Why Republicans are behind this (I'm a conservative but not a Trumper). Please, I'm waiting a response as to EXACTLY how Republicans are bhiend a private company's policies.
And read up on general media as to what is Amazon is doing before you respond. You might learn something.
Yeah I’m a liberal as they come and I have no idea what PP was getting at. Yes Amazon is getting worse because supply chains are messed up but that has way more to do with the global pandemic than trump and frankly I think the biggest problem is that Amazon’s original business model was unsustainable especially in the current labor market.
