Preschoolers plus sib drop off and who exactly is watching the kids? Any parent/nanny/grandparent reading this invite should have to stay with their kids. If they would reply yes it would shift to no givn the chances of supervising other kids by default. Once did a weeday Chuck E Cheese with another mom- 5 kids total and my parents helped. 4 adults. That's not what OP is staffing.

I first texted the class group chat because a school closure meant the paper invites were delayed but I wanted to let people know ASAP, and put the paper invites in cubbies a few days later. Nobody does the electronic invites to my knowledge.
Nobody does paper invites. Send out an evite so people can RSVP and add to their calendar. This is where you went wrong.
