I don't think it's necessarily "expensive" but we started buying Fast Passes every time we go to an amusement park and I'm not sure how we managed before that. I don't really care what the cost is because it saves literal hours.

Worth it:
cleaning service
Le Creuset and All Clad cookware
Tofu press
shredding/grating your own cheese from actual cheese blocks
farmer's market produce

Not worth it:
Any experience marketed as a "must see/must do" and has endless crowds. As it turns out, I generally dislike any activity involving crowds.

Title Nine dresses - Title Nine clothing can be pricey (for my budget) but it's SO comfortable and well made and flattering. That's my splurge.

San Marzano tomatoes - the best canned tomatoes for marinara sauce and chili. Worth the extra $2 you'd pay per can.

Real pecorino romano and parmigiano reggiano cheese

Yes!!! I received these as part of a care package when recovering from surgery and could not believe how good they were.

I love chocolate chip cookies and Wegmans, but these cookies have a bad aftertaste.

Hanky Panky panties. So glad I dropped Victoria’s Secret a few years ago on the advice of this board!

Mackage coats. Stylish, beautiful and warm. I look forward to breaking mine out every December.

Classic designer items. This includes my Burberry trench, Chanel classic flap, etc. They are great additions to my wardrobe and have lasted way longer than cheaper alternatives.
