Here's the thing: even if this is common practice by many people, in some settings you need to be aware that you need to behave better. Imagine you and a friend go to the bathroom together, and you don't normally wash your hands. In that situation, I bet you would, because you'd be embarrassed to have your friend find out about your nasty habit of not washing. It's no different at work. These are not just total strangers; they're your co-workers, so you need to behave better.

I agree with letting her know anynymously and repeating the message as needed. This is one time where I am A-ok with bullying/harassment.

It baffles me that someone would not wash their hands after a bm. Is it laziness, lack of home training, or an unclear understanding of the health impact?

I always wash my hands in the work bathroom but is anyone getting and diseases or problems from pee hands touching surfaces? I don’t think so.

Carry a tube of hand lotion in your bag at all times, wash your hands in soap and water. Hand sanitizer is terrible for your skin.

Send an anonymous letter to HR or just call her out on it. That's gross and effects the whole entire office. Think about everything this filthy person touches in a day. SO GROSS.

That will not work. I hate when employers/bosses do this crap. They make a blanket statement to everyone thinking that the one person who is violating it will get the message. All it does is make some over anxious person retrace their steps for the past three weeks because they’re freaking out that the sign might be about because maybe they forgot one time.

The best approach is to communicate directly with the employee. A poster on the other page had two good options.
