Or...WWW (White Western Women) are just insufferable to be around. I am divorced from a WWW who was an overweight blob and got remarried to a beautiful Brazilian who is much nicer and takes care of herself. She's an angel with my kids too...
My ex worked part time and still couldn't find time to do anything around the house, and I handled all the outdoor stuff, the car stuff and ensured maintenance of our core house stuff (AC, Heating, Appliances). All she had to do was pick up after the kids and couldn't even do that.
I'm much better off.
And after she gets what she needs from you, she'll go back to Brazil and spend your money with men who don't repulse her.
All the S American Latinos I know are quite high maintenance.
Did you find a milk maid nanny from the favela to take care of you?

100% its not just men; but with home/family/kld things I hear about it more with the dads. BTW at our school the dads and moms are great (except the one above)
How is this weaponized incompetence? Maybe it’s just how they divide up responsibilities? My husband also does both these things…mainly because he has a more flexible job for appointments. But he has also never vacuumed a floor in our house.
Because she acts like no one tells her anything; that she's being excluded. She chose to act surprised about how things operate like birthday parties; school drop off; etc. And then she will talk about how she does it all. We all know its the dad.
If they are dividing and conquering child related tasks no one sees it. If you ask her the names of the teachers she doesn't know. She was very involved in Kinder and then covid and she stopped 100%. She does not arrange playdates; vaccines; summer camps.
Again maybe its not weaponized incompetnece just incompetence

When my wife is on work travel I make sure that the house is in excellent shape when she gets back. When I return from travel the house has completely fallen apart.

My DH was gone for 5 days. It wasn’t easy.
But when he got back, I see negative effects of him being here.
Woah. That has me reeling a bit.
-he laid out his stuff all over our bedroom floor. Kids and pets will spread it out before he puts it away (within 24h).
-he asked me where the honey was and accused me of forgetting something related to it. I hadn’t. I had to get my point across 3x that the honey was somewhere on the counter (not lost).
-he used the last TP in our bathroom (more in a cabinet 6 ft away), but he didn’t get it. I had to while using the bathroom
-he snores and woke me up all night. I have asked him to see a doctor many times. He hasn’t.

Pp, and just to add—that’s fine. We divide tasks up in a way that works for us. Being a woman who doesn’t keep track of the school schedule doesn’t make me incompetent, it’s just something he handles, what’s the big deal?
