It is not quite as scandalous as people want you to believe. One AP teacher moved due to her husband's job and one is on sick leave (literally in the hospital) and will be back in a week now that she has healed, praise God.

Yes, AP teachers are leaving, as are others. The leadership there is ridiculous. Neither the principal nor head of school are good administrators. It’s a mess. The HOS will not return emails or address concerns. The college admits weee unimpressive last year and will most likely prove to be this year too.

No PVI is not okay.

My niece left PVI 2 years ago and transferred to John Paul the Great. She loves JP. She and her parents were turned off by how wild and secular PVI was becoming. Kids dressing provocatively, making out in the bathrooms, academics declining, bullying, etc. and the administration not doing anything to addressed those issues. Apparently, a girl was assaulted in the bathroom a few years ago. Not sure how it is now, but that's what my niece left a few years ago.

We know families at John Paul the Great in Dumfries who love it. But that is really far...

JP is terrific. People travel very far to attend, so don't count it out unless you're more than ~35 miles away. If you're coming from the north or west, you'll almost always be driving against traffic, so that helps.

It's actually more than 6 teachers. At least 5 left last year. More than 6 this year. One AP class has had 3 teachers this year.

No good reason for that to happen - ever.

It's one thing to leave the profession, but leaving in the middle of the school year is concerning unless all 6 were novice teachers or new to the school.
