Exactly, and now the biggest right wing influencer of them all is on it.

Musk is a moron, but the suicide risk for non oral hormonal birth control is actually true, per a Denmark study. I’ve known a lot of women who had to stop depo-provera because of the affects on their mental health.

I also agree with the Denmark study that more studies are needed.

Bullcrap.

Dismissing the data, instead of talking about it, isn’t going to be doing anyone any favors.

Have you taken birth control before? You should understand that they can cause things like depression and mood disturbances for some women. Switching birth control is the best way to alleviate these problems.

Pay attention to that wording

“A Feminist Movement” against hormonal birth control. They are gonna use tik tok to do it. We’ll start seeing very pretty young women talking about awful the pill is and how big pharma is trying to poison us.

This is the right wing plan to return women to the home. It probably won’t work. Women are already not having sex with men.

Fill in the gaps for yourself on how some will advocate trying to address that.

I don’t think they’ll be able to pull it off. They will go the way of the Polish right wing soon enough.

But there’s a chance, a small one, that they do pull it off. And then it will be: under his eye.

Republican officials in Idaho announced that they would consider imposing bans on various forms of birth control.

This is really glib. There is a whole generation of women's lives about to be ruined.

Because it’s never going to happen. This isn’t like reversing Roe. On what legal basis could they do this? And this would be ridiculously unpopular across the country.

“Louisiana Republicans advanced a bill that would charge abortion as homicide and grant constitutional rights to a person “from the moment of fertilization.” That language could also restrict the use of emergency contraception and other methods that seek to prevent a fertilized embryo from implanting in the uterus.

When asked if Mississippi might next target the use of contraceptives such as the Plan B pill or intrauterine devices, Reeves demurred, saying that was not what the state was focused on “at this time.”

Turning Point USA’s Alex Clark is on a misinformation campaign against hormonal birth control

“In her rants, Clark only briefly mentions that some people use contraception to prevent needing medical treatment for non-contraceptive purposes, including acne, endometriosis, and reducing menstrual pain. Her rampant misinformation against the pill echoes Turning Point’s anti-abortion stance and encouragement of women to get married and have children at a young age.”

You all said Roe would never be reversed either. Then it was. Abortion bans are very unpopular too, but republicans have enacted them anyway.

OP. Yes, I think I said on the previous page to please let’s not play dumb/be wishful about this issue. Many voters said the same thing about abortion, that the GOP would never. Here we are. Let’s raise the alarm to what the GOP is planning.
