Immediate PP, does PP sound great or sound awful? You said both. Ha. SOME PTA parents are definitely busybodies, we too have unfortunately seen them. There is no need for PTA "busybody" parent/s to know whatever situation of an individual student.

Don't contact central office, contact the RCF office and ask to speak to the current principal or AP.
