Never and I don't order meals delivered either. Can't afford it. Prefer to do my own shopping and fix my own food most of the time.

I do Safeway express lane twice a week. If we know something isn’t available or we didn’t like the substitution they suggest we run in when we go pick up but otherwise it’s been a game changer in terms of saving time. It also forces me to meal plan so we have far less food wasted.

For us it’s that we just don’t like to grocery shop and it’s not expensive to have someone else do it. We use Instacart a couple times a week.

2021 I did it when I had some ankle surgery and couldn't walk for 5 weeks. It was a lifesaver. Also, Amazon Prime had free or very cheap Whole Foods delivery at the time so it was great. But now they charge I think? And I am able bodied again so I haven't used it.

I just started within the last year. I have health issues and it's a struggle to shop, bag the groceries and haul them in. Delivery is cheaper with Walmart Plus anyway and Walmart is a haul. For the money I save, I use that as a tip and done. I can chat with the shopper and prepick substitutions.

Oh, my partner has a job and works a bit more than 40 hours. When needed, he does the school pick up, and after school activities when his schedule allows it (normally he can make it work). My kids absolutely behave when shopping and if I shop I bring them to carry stuff. Mine have never been in day care, after school care or camps.. not everyone has the luxuries you have.

Almost always. Love Walmart delivery. No mark ups.

Once a week. I love it. it is my luxury.

I like Safeway’s pick up service because the prices are the same. I have a newborn and toddler so it’s easier than going in the store. Plus saves me from impulse buys. It forces me to meal plan.

Rarely we will do delivery—illness, unusual life event like birth of a child, or on the night we get back from vacation.

I can turn off substitutions but then I need to be prepared to not have that item. It’s too inconvenient for more frequent ordering.

We started during the pandemic then stopped when we had to pay for Prime/Whole Foods deliveries. It's better to select the produce ourselves anyway.

Every week, sometimes more than once. Shipt memberships go on sale a few times a year for $50. Target owns Shipt so there is no markup. I basically pay someone a $12-15 tip to not have to wrangle two kids in a grocery store... absolutely worth it. I turn on text for substitutions so I can tell them what else to try for and if they don't have what I need just skip. Produce you can enter notes about whether you want your bananas green, etc. You can also prioritize favorite shoppers so I have 2-3 who nail it every time. Target is generous on refunds if there is a spoiled berry in the mix or something.

I also have instacart membership for free with my credit card. Sprouts is same as store prices and a few other stores are too.. same process with the substitutions.

Walmart just picks whatever they want and I find that not helpful. Harris Teeter used to call me to confirm subs were ok but we moved away so not sure if that is still their process.

I still spend time adding stuff to my cart but I can do so with coffee on the couch while my kids play happily. We are meal preppers so we know exactly what we need/have no need to peruse. I'm honestly surprised more people DON'T use delivery.

At least once a month. My credit card offers free instacart membership and a $15 credit each month so I use it. Also when returning home from vacation, I order delivery to make sure we have a stocked fridge (less stress)! I try to use delivery for bulkier items like beverages and paper products that are a pain to load/unload in a car especially with young children. These are also essentials that are usually in stock.
