Junkies?

No. If you watch them you’ll see these gypsy women leave the store and get into very nice vehicles, like Mercedes and nice SUVs. These are scam artists, plain and simple.

I saw one last week with a baby trying to scam people. They are sickening, and I have taught my teenager to curse out any gypsy that ever approaches them for anything.

Never seen this, and there is no way I am buying a whole cart of groceries for a random stranger.

I've had a guy follow me around because he was hitting on me and wouldn't take no for an answer.

Yep. Nothing will happen.

I’m actually tempted to start doing it myself, because why shouldn’t I?

I’ve been having the same thoughts, I thought I was going mad! But apparently yes it is super tempting!

Must be gypsies. Don't know why some people defend them.

No idea what store you could walk out with a cart full of groceries

Have you spent any time in America in the last decade?

All of them. Corporate doesn't want violent confrontations. Inventory shrink is far less expensive than ugly media coverage, lawyers, etc.

I’m pretty sure this is the scam where they get someone to pay for their groceries and then immediately return them for cash. They don’t want the food.

What grocery store is that stupid??

NP here. No idea what store you could walk out with a cart full of groceries but I have seen the other scam several times at Target. Been approached and asked to purchase groceries, declined, then on my way out saw the person returning everything at customer service.

I don’t want people I know to see me. I teach where I live so see people at the store all the time.

Maybe I should drive a couple towns over and get free groceries.

I agree, PP. Why not?
