It's amazing the level of vitriol and detestation that some celebrities provoke in people. I don't think you'd describe someone you actually KNEW in those terms. Somehow people reserve their worse for people they've never even met!

Imagine if someone did this to you.

He’s pretty dull, kind of like Rick Steves. I’ve only seen him on his CNN Italy show. Great views but not much else.

I saw him in person from about a foot away two years ago. He did not look wrinkly. He looked exactly the same as he always has.

I saw him when he was just walking around the National Gallery last winter and he looked pretty good. Not wrinkly at all. I assume he was not wearing makeup since he wasn’t performing.

Baldness makes a man look much older. He looks his age to me.
