The fashion today reminds me of 2006-2010 and I personally loved that fashion and time of my life, so I’m happy! Wide leg pants, blazers and slim jeans, layers, not dressing entirely monochrome or beige. Love it!

LOL. I'm the pp that the Lilly P wannabe responded to. I am tired of trying to think about outfits, and I have so many bright clothes that just no longer feel like me. My creativity lies elsewhere. So, if that makes me a basic try hard, so be it.


NP. Yes. The thing about a classic and neutral wardrobe is that it makes it easy to get dressed for just about anything, particularly if you don't have unlimited funds. It works best for me at this stage of life. I was more "fun" and creative in my 20's.

That being said, I don't love the whole quiet luxury thing....brands like The Row and Khaite...I don't doubt the quality is high and the leather is buttery soft, blah, blah, but for those prices I need a bit more visual interest.



Well, I don't need luxury and I've never heard about those brands, but I just looked up Khaite. Yeah, I'm not going to spend $1100 on a sweater that looks identical to one I can get at JCrew Factory for $40. I'd rather spend $$ on my house or travel.

I would never have a Hermes blanket if it says Hermes on it. But isn't it wonderful that there are so many designers that everyone can find what they personally like, no matter what phase they're in?

Very simple, well designed clothes that look "calm" for lack of a better word. The Row, Bite Studios, Caes, Loulou Studio, etc. I have some pieces from JCrew and Uniqlo, and then colorful pjs from Natori and pj pants from Anthropologie.
