We just don't celebrate in a big way. We don't make Christmas a huge deal.

We have special traditions for dinner Christmas Eve, brunch Christmas Day, and dinner Christmas Day. Most of the time it has been just the four of us in our immediate family here for Christmas.

It changes year to year. This year the big dinner was tonight (Christmas Eve) because church was at 5 so we could do fancy dinner afterwards. We always do a nice brunch on Xmas day. Last year we did fancy appetizers (caviar, crab cakes, etc) for Christmas Eve because we had 10 person dinners the previous 2 nights. I always feel like it needs to be something special/different from other days.

Christmas Day late lunch. We focus on getting the kids to bed early on Christmas Eve so that we can set up all the gifts, etc, so we keep it simple with snacks, etc.

Fun breakfast super early as of course the kids are up at the crack of dawn! Late lunch, then early bedtime as everyone is exhausted!

Day. Tonight we ordered in sushi after church.

I can’t imagine doing a big meal, cleaning up then playing Santa. Tomorrow is coffee and danish. Then roast at 1

Christmas Day. Christmas Eve is take out pizza. Unless the place closes early (we have missed it at least twice).

I cannot imagine pulling it off for Christmas Eve on the years it’s a weekday, but I guess people just take the full day off.

We do Christmas lunch as the formal meal, but it's just prime rib, mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts, so it's not exhausting to cook because there's not a ton of different things to make and prime rib is mostly hands off.

Just had it tonight. Christmas Eve dinner for 10 family and friends. Finished the dishes and am exhausted!…but happy. We go to a relative’s house for a low-key dinner tomorrow.

We have a nicer than normal dinner on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but our big holiday dinner is New Year's Eve.
