Regarding "no athletic scholarships," I'm wondering if "merit aid" is sometimes thrown at athletes in lieu of a straight up athletic scholarship -- not specifically at U of Chicago, but also at places like Oberlin, etc. (I have no idea, just wondering out loud.)
