If my husband admitted to feeling the need to be tracking my whereabouts for a month or so, I would be frustrated with him.

Some spouses are dumb and get jealous or hurt if their spouse wants to be away from them

Too many people who know him and might stop to chat or wonder why he is sitting in his car?

I believe it. I also need time to decompress after work but thankfully am able to do that. DH does as well, and since he works from home, he decompresses by going for a 15-20 min drive with the dog and listens to an audio book.

But I also can't imagine checking someone's location so that the steak isn't overcooked. That just screams highly controlling to me and the fact that he said he has no time to decompress kind of solidifies that for me.

My first thought was he's calling his GF and I still think so. Now that he's told you he's decompressing he's got himself covered.

I had the same thought. She should have held this info close to her vest, and headed to the parking lot the next time he was parked in one.

I do this but my husband knows. I am a teacher and after a long day, a couple times a week, I will over in a random parking lot and unwind before being needed all afternoon/evening with my own kids. I may watch a 30 minute show, scroll on tik tok, eat ice cream or stuff my face with fast food. It is a nice transition from work to home that allows me a little reset. He should be able to communicate this with you and you should be able to give him solo time which sounds like what he needs.

I'd say 50 percent chance it's true that he is decompressing just sitting in his car, 50 percent chance he is decompressing in his car but it involves a prostitute.
