REALLY good towels. This is one of the most appreciated gifts I’ve given. They get used every day and bring a little luxury!

Yes to portable car jump-starter; most have usb and other outlets too so they are useful in power outages.

The ikea tool kit is also a great idea.

A steam cleaner thing for a microwave

The Oxo Y-shaped peeler or 3-piece silicone spatula/scraper set

A variety of tape: duct, painters, scotch, washi, magnetic, and double-sided mounting

Magic eraser sheets and Shout wipes

A food item, though not everyone likes the same things so this can be risky. But something like a nice selection of chocolate bars can be enjoyed, regifted, used in recipes...

Gift card to a place lots of people shop (grocery store, target, amazon)

My ILs gets our car detailed when they visit. They borrow our car when they are here but before they leave - they get our car detailed, fluids checked and replenished, and leave a full tank of gas for us. We are very lucky.
